Day 1 – we leave from your hotel around 8am heading to the Ceasa port where we visit a fish market with a big variety of amazonian species.
We take a boat to the Catalão floating village where we visit a Pirarucu fish (the biggest species of fish with scales in fresh water) farm to play with these giant creatures.
Now we head to the meeting of the rivers negro & amazon, for pictures and explanations about this amazing phenomenon, after this point we keep navigating to the Careiro village to take a van and drive for about one hour until the Araçá river where we take another boat to the Maori lake, the place where we set our camp in the jungle.
After lunch we go out for a canoe ride for a recognition of the area and observe the nature such as river dolphins, monkeys, birds etc.Day 2 – we wake up at 5:30 to see the sunrise and the nature waking up.
We have breakfast at 7am and at 8am we go for a four hours jungle trekking to get to know the medicinal plants, insects like spiders, ants and other animals.
We return to our camp to have lunch.
At 2:30 we go out for piranha fishing and at night we go again for cayman spotting.
Day 3 – after breakfast we start our journey for a new location to set our camp at the Tracajá lake and setting our camp in the middle of the jungle with hammocks on trees about 3 meters high.
At night we go for a jungle exploration to see the night wild life.
Day 4 – we return to the river bank after breakfast and go for visiting a local family where we’ll spend also the night and enjoy their company and learn about our local people’s life
Day 5 – after breakfast we’ll go in small canoes through the flooded forest and creeks and after lunch we start our journey back to Manaus arriving around 5pm back to your hotel.
